Recipes For You To Celebrate This Day
Since the strawberry season is going to end soon, the best way to celebrate is to have strawberry kulfi.
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
- 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
- 2 tablespoons chopped cashews
- In a bowl, mix together the pureed strawberries and sweetened condensed milk.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Add the whipped cream to the strawberry mixture and stir until well combined.
- Stir in the cardamom powder, almonds, pistachios, and cashews.
- Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or into an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Cover the molds or dish with aluminum foil and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- To serve, run a sharp knife around the edge of each mold or the dish, and turn out the kulfis onto serving plates.
- Serve immediately and garnish with additional chopped nuts and strawberries, if desired.
