There are two ways of cooking Hyderabadi Biryani: Kachi & Pakki. In Pakki Biryani, rice, and meat are cooked separately, then layered in an earthen pot. To make it more delicious, saffron, and fried onion are layered over the rice for flavor and aroma.
In Kacchi biryani, the layers are added in sandwich form in an earthen pot and then sealed with a dough, making it a lid. Also, rice, and meat are cooked together.
Lucknowi Biryani
Lucknowi Biryani, which is also known as Awadhi Biryani is another type of biryani that Indians love. To flavor the rice, we use star anise, saffron, and cinnamon. It has a distinctive dum phukt cooking method where rice is partially cooked, away from spice-infused meat. Mandi Biryani
A Saudi Arabian biryani, a traditional dish of Yemen, which is popular in the Malabar region of India is Mandi Biryani. In the end, all you need to do is add rice and smoked meat together, garnish it with coriander leaves, and serve it with yogurt sauce. Kolkata Biryani
