Rath Yatra, the grand chariot festival celebrated primarily in Puri, Odisha, is not only a vibrant display of devotion and tradition but also a time for spiritual introspection, fasting, and clean eating. Devotees of Lord Jagannath often observe a satvik diet during this time – one that excludes onion, garlic, and meat, and focuses on purity, simplicity, and freshness.
If you’re looking to honor the spirit of Rath Yatra at home with wholesome, flavorful meals, you don’t need to worry about elaborate preparations.
