Navratri Puja Samagri List For Kalash Sthapana
For Kalash Sthapana, you’ll need
- A brass, copper, or clay vessel
- A clay container
- Sacred thread, Mouli, or Kalava
- Mango leaves
- Barley
- Vermilion
- A small red scarf
- Water
- A lamp
- Sesame oil or ghee
- Clay
- Sand or soil.
How To Do Kalash Sthapana?
To establish the Kalash, start by placing a clay pot filled with a bit of sand into the ground. Next, add clay and barley to the pot. Position the Kalash securely, then fill it with water. Place 5 or 7 mango leaves on top of the Kalash. Cover a small bowl with a scarf, wrapping the coconut inside. Finally, tie the kalava (Mouli or sacred thread) around the Kalash and draw a swastika with vermilion.
