Recipes For You To Celebrate This Day

Strawberry Kulfi

Delicious Strawberry Kulfi

Since the strawberry season is going to end soon, the best way to celebrate is to have strawberry kulfi.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cashews

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the pureed strawberries and sweetened condensed milk.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Add the whipped cream to the strawberry mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Stir in the cardamom powder, almonds, pistachios, and cashews.
  5. Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or into an 8-inch square baking dish.
  6. Cover the molds or dish with aluminum foil and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  7. To serve, run a sharp knife around the edge of each mold or the dish, and turn out the kulfis onto serving plates.
  8. Serve immediately and garnish with additional chopped nuts and strawberries, if desired.
