Banana Bread Recipe With Eggs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup sugar/brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 ⅓ cups mashed overripe bananas

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 175°C & grease a 9*5 inch loaf pan, set aside.
  • Combine all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. In a separate bowl, beat together sugar and the butter, until smooth. Add in eggs and the mashed bananas. Stir until homogenous.
  • Pour the batter in the greased loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the bread comes out clean, roundabout 60 minutes.
  • Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes and then onto a wire rack to cool down completely.

Banana Bread With Walnuts

Banana bread can be made with many different nuts and seeds added to it to make it more nutritious. Banana bread with walnuts is one of the most popular banana bread combinations.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature & a little more to grease the pan
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 overripe bananas (roughly 1 cup) mashed
  • ½ cup toasted walnuts

Instructions

  • Salt, baking soda, and flour should be sifted into a medium basin and set aside. In a liquid measuring cup with a spout, combine the eggs and vanilla; leave aside. Butter a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan and lightly brush the surface. Set the oven to 175°C.
  • Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy using an electric hand-held mixer or a standing mixer with the paddle attachment. Pour the egg mixture into the butter in small batches and stir until combined. Remove the bowl from the mixer after adding the bananas (the mixture will look to be curdled, but don’t panic).
  • Add the flour mixture and stir with a rubber spatula until just combined. After adding the nuts, pour the batter into the pan that has been prepared. A toothpick put into the centre of the bread should come out clean after 55 minutes of baking. For five minutes, let the bread cool on a wire rack inside the pan. The bread should be removed from the pan and allowed to cool entirely on a rack. Put plastic wrap on. The banana bread tastes the best the next day.

Eggless Banana Bread

If you are allergic to eggs, do not like eggs or whatever may be the reason for you to want to have a banana bread without eggs, this is one of the best ones to make. Read on to know how to make an eggless banana bread.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ⅓ cup melted butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  3. Gradually add in the flour, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the bread comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the bread, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Vegan Banana Bread


If you are a vegan and love bread. Banana bread is one of the best options for you! Here’s how to make a vegan banana bread.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ⅓ cup melted coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • ½ cup brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½  tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: chopped walnuts or chocolate chips for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted coconut oil, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Sprinkle chopped walnuts or chocolate chips on top, if desired.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
